Professional Learning Events Assistant
This position will be a part-time 20-25 hours a week 11 month position from August to June
Education Level and Certification:
High school diploma or GED. Preferred college-level coursework and previous clerical/administrative experience.

The Events Assistant supports the Professional Learning team by coordinating student events, managing communications and marketing efforts, assisting with contracts and scheduling, and providing project and grant management support. This position helps ensure the successful planning and implementation of events, programs, and initiatives by maintaining timelines, tracking deliverables, coordinating logistics, managing registration processes, and supporting communication with schools, presenters, and partners.
The coordinator serves as a key organizational resource, helping the department operate efficiently while advancing the mission of serving, supporting, and empowering schools across the ESU 13 region.
Working Conditions
- Inside heated and air conditioned facility
- Outside for activities with students and student supervision.
At-Will Position:
This position is an "at-will" position and may be terminated, with or without cause, at any time in the sole discretion of the ESU 13 Administrator or ESU 13 Administrator's designee.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of the Events Assistant position include: (1) regular, dependable attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge, skills, and abilities and to perform the identified work activities; and (3) the ability to perform the following identified physical requirements:
