The Service Advisor serves as the link between customers and the technical team. This role involves listening to customer concerns, explaining recommended services, and ensuring a smooth process from drop-off to pick-up. Strong communication and people skills are vital, as you’ll be building trust and long-term relationships.
You’ll also be responsible for coordinating workflow within the shop, helping technicians stay on schedule, and ensuring customers are updated throughout the repair process. If you enjoy working with people while being involved in the automotive service industry, this role is ideal.
Responsibilities include:
Greet and assist customers with repair and maintenance needs.
Explain service recommendations clearly and professionally.
Schedule and track repair orders.
Communicate with technicians about vehicle issues.
Ensure customer satisfaction before and after service.
