Nursing Assistant; BNA and Medication Aide; MA Adjunct Instructor

Position: Basic Nursing Assistant (BNA) and Medication Aide (MA) Adjunct Instructor
Teach Basic Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide courses.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Prepare course outlines.

* Teach Courses.

* Institute a consistent evaluation process.

* Maintain accurate student records.

* Maintain confidentiality of student information according to FERPA guidelines.

* Manage student conduct according to policy and procedure.

* Support College policies and procedures.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum of LPN, RN preferred, with at least two (2) years clinical experience; current license required; in addition to two (2) years long term care experience or experience supervising and teaching CNA's. Formal or informal teaching experience preferred. A formal offer for the position is contingent upon State approval of credentials and experience.

* Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards - Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.

* Documenting/Recording Information - Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.

* Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
