Vision Services Assistant
Part-time 3 days a week - could be full-time with 2 days as floater para in Meridian School
Valid driver's license to travel to required school districts in ESU 13 vehicle

Education Level and Certification:
Degree in education or similar field preferred, some college and/or experience working with individuals with disabilities or in the field of special education is required.

Performance Responsibilities and Job Tasks
The Vision Services Assistant is responsible for on-site technology set up and student support for virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired services. The VSA will travel from district to district, based on a schedule created by the TVI or program supervisor, access Zoom links and meetings, and provide hands-on student support while students are receiving vision services. The VSA may be asked to track student performance data on goals and objectives, prepare materials, and provide written information to IFSP teams, IEP teams, the supervising TVI, classroom teachers, and/or families.
Working Conditions
At-Will Position. This position is an "at-will" position and may be terminated, with or without cause, at any time in the sole discretion of the ESU 13 Administrator or ESU 13 Administrator's designee.

The essential functions of the Vision Services Assistant position include: (1) regular, dependable in-person attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge, skills, and abilities and to perform the identified work activities independently; and (3) the ability to perform the following identified physical requirements:
