Legacy Coop is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Head Cashier to oversee daily cash operations and ensure accurate handling of all financial transactions. This role is essential in maintaining smooth front-end operations and supporting excellent customer service.
The head cashier position is full-time and in person and comes with our excellent full-time benefits package including competitive pay, vacation and sick time, retirement and 401K, and holiday pay.
Responsibilities- Manage daily banking procedures, including deposits and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate cash on hand and balance cash drawers
- Oversee and process credit and debit card transactions
- Monitor and service ATM operations, including cash replenishment and balancing
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
- Assist with training and supporting cashier staff as needed
- Address cash discrepancies promptly and professionally
- Other duties as assigned

Education and/or ExperienceOne year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excel experience required.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsA valid driver's license is required for the position.
