Overview
What Pharmacy Support contributes to Cardinal Health:
Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Pharmacy Support is responsible for performing clerical functions to support retail or health system pharmacy business operations.
This position is located at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE
Pharmacy
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9am-5pm;
Wednesday and Friday 9am to 6pm
Schedule:
40 hours/week
- Seeking a customer and detail oriented individual with strong administrative and clerical skills to help implement and grow a new community healthcare center pharmacy
- Must have entrepreneurial spirit
- Must have a high degree of initiative
- Must be self-motivated and flexible to change
- Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone
- Answers questions and handles requests according to policy
- Refers inquiries to the pharmacist
- High school degree or equivalent, preferred
- Customer service skills
- Previous experience with sales, register, and healthcare, preferred
- May require vendor credentialling
- Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
- Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
- Refers to policies and past practices for guidance
- Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments
- Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
Anticipated hourly range: $15.00 per hour - $19.60 per hour
