About the Role:
The Lead Sterile Processing Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of surgical instruments and medical equipment used in patient care. - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in sterile processing, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the sterile processing department.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and stored according to established protocols.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in sterile processing and infection control.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to assess instrument needs and improve workflow efficiency.
