Interim CT Supervisor

Full Time Technical CAT Scanner, SCOTTSBLUFF, NE, US

Salary Range: $35.20 To $50.00 Hourly

About the Role:

The Interim CT Supervisor plays a critical leadership role within the Health Care Services sector, overseeing the daily operations of the Computed Tomography (CT) department to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow. This position is responsible for managing a team of CT technologists, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The Interim CT Supervisor acts as a liaison between radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.

This role requires a proactive approach to quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and equipment maintenance to optimize diagnostic imaging services. Ultimately, the Interim CT Supervisor ensures that the CT department operates smoothly during transitional periods, maintaining continuity and excellence in patient care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (ARRT-R)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the United States.
  • ARRT Certification in CT required within 18 months of hire
  • American Heart Association BLS required
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of CT technologists to ensure efficient and accurate imaging services.
  • Manage staff scheduling, workload distribution, and coverage to maintain optimal department operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards related to CT imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, quality control, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
  • Conduct training, performance evaluations, and professional development for CT staff.
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the interim period, addressing any operational challenges promptly.
