Shift:  6:00/8:00 am – 2:30/4:30 pm
**** Pay range: $ (attendance bonus from $1.50-$2.50/hr depending on position)
**** SUMMARY**:  The General Production Team Members support the Smart Chicken poultry processing operations by performing a variety of production and labor functions as assigned. Team members will be placed in the position they chose at the time of hiring and may be rotated across multiple areas of the facility based on operational needs, staffing requirements, and business demand. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
*** Team members in this position may be required to perform one or more of the following duties, including but not limited to:
* Hanging live birds
* Handling and processing inedible materials in accordance with food safety and environmental standards
* Trimming product to ensure proper quality standards are met
* Rehanger labor to ensure proper product flow
* Sorting duties, ensuring product meets FPS standards
* Whole bird processing and specialty handling
* Production flex assignments, rotating between positions as needed to support production requirements
* Adherence to all food safety, quality, animal welfare, and workplace safety policies
* Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, tools, and equipment as required
** Work Environment and

Physical Requirements:

*** Manufacturing environment with exposure to humid or warm temperatures, cold temperatures, wet conditions, and poultry products. (below 40°F)
* Standing and walking for extended periods of time
* Repetitive motions and frequent use of hands and arms
* Lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling product as required by the position
* Willing and able to lift/carry up to 45 lbs
* Use of knives or cutting tools in designated roles, following all safety procedures
