Travel Adult Medical-Surgical RN

Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist the physician during examinations and treatment of patients.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and participate in discharge planning and initiating patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.

  ACLS and BLS required; additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

  Travel.

Travel nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop as needed. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Work in a fast-paced environment with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Total Med Travel Job .
