Travel ICU​/PCU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is hiring a travel ICU RN for a 13‑week assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The schedule is 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week. Candidates should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

• Provide bedside nursing care in an ICU setting.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret reports.
• Collect samples for lab work and coordinate related testing.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Communicate patient conditions to families and support them.

• 1‑2 years acute care experience.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds comfortably and up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Prepared to handle exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases.
