Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced OR nurse with Orthopedic and Neuro surgical experience to provide specialized perioperative care. The role involves handling weekend and weekday call duties, supporting complex surgical procedures, and maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist in surgical procedures within the operating room.
- Manage preoperative preparation and post-operative care for orthopedic and neuro patients.
- Respond promptly to call situations during scheduled on-call periods, including weekends and weeknights.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain sterile environments throughout surgical processes.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
- Hold a valid RN license with current certification.
- Demonstrate at least 1-2 years of OR nursing experience, specifically in orthopedic and neuro surgeries.
- Possess strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques.
- Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and nights, on call basis.
