House Supervisor

The House Supervisor oversees patient placement, staffing coordination, and emergency response within the facility. They serve as a key communication link among staff, providers, and other healthcare facilities to ensure smooth operations and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize bed availability and patient flow.
• Manage staffing assignments in collaboration with nursing directors to ensure adequate coverage.
• Attend and respond to all emergency codes, traumas, and rapid responses to support staff and patient needs.
• Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, staff, and external facilities to facilitate effective communication.
• Provide guidance, support, and oversight to nursing staff and team members during their shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with recent clinical experience, preferably in ICU or acute care.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Have experience attending emergency codes, traumas, and crisis situations.
• Ability to coordinate multi-departmental activities and manage staff efficiently.
