Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Operating Room RN Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide specialized perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing diverse surgical cases and ensuring patient safety from pre-operative to post-operative phases.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia, and overall condition throughout procedures.
• Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies and provide immediate interventions.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records of surgical procedures.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards consistently.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years OR nursing experience, with recent perioperative expertise.
• Proficient in sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
