Western Nebraska Regional Airport – Airport Operations Specialist I or II Overview
WE ARE SEEKING A HIGHLY MOTIVATED AND MULTI-TRAINED INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL EXCEL QUICKLY (ONLY SERIOUS APPLICANTS APPLY, PLEASE). Western Nebraska Regional Airport is seeking a full time Airport Operations Specialist I or II, exact placement according to skill set. Pay commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities- This job is 40 hours per week, includes seasonal evening and weekend overtime work due to snow removal and working diversions (explained at interview), knowledge of basic tools with practical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting and carpentry fields;
- Experience in operations of Heavy Equipment (ie, tractor loaders, dump truck, fire equipment and other heavy equipment) CDL is a plus;
- Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions;
- Ability to perform physical duties indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions;
- Must meet all requirements above and be active with the Airport Fire Department and respond as needed;
- Computer experience a plus - MS Word and EXCEL, other programs will be taught. Salary to commensurate with experience. Further Job advancement is available in future.
