Customer Service Representative Call Center

Immediate temp-to-hire customer service representative ii opportunity! We are currently representing a well-established manufacturing company in scottsboro, al that is seeking a customer service representative ii to join their team on a contractual basis, with the opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance.

key responsibilities:

• receive and process customer orders via phone, fax, and edi.
• provide outstanding customer service to dealers, wholesalers, retailers, homeowners, and internal teams.
• answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, shipping schedules, warranty information, and order status.
• coordinate with production, shipping, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• resolve customer concerns and complaints while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
• maintain customer records, order files, templates, and account information.
• process warranty claims, authorize returns and refunds when appropriate, and educate customers on warranty procedures.
• communicate company policies regarding pricing, freight allowances, returns, labor allowances, and warranty programs.
• prepare account status reports and perform accurate data entry.
• support internal departments as needed to ensure exceptional customer service.

qualifications:

• at least 1 year of customer service or call center experience.
• excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• strong problem-solving and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• proficient in microsoft office, including word, excel, outlook, and power point.
• accurate data entry and computer skills.
• ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• professional, dependable, and customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership.
• technical school certificate, equivalent experience, or a combination of education and experience preferred.
• knowledge of water heater products is a plus.
• associate's degree and commercial refrigeration experience are preferred but not required.
