CFD Research Corporation is seeking a Deburr Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in the manufacture of high‑fidelity aerospace grade machine components. This new role will work on a growing team of engineers and technicians, encompassing polishing and deburring parts to support technology development programs designed and prototyped at our new Hollywood, Alabama Engineering Test Center, located a short distance from our Headquarters in Huntsville, AL.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a machine shop atmosphere, reading machine setup sheets, tool lists, and other related documents, and strong communication skills.

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Position requires a High School Diploma and a minimum of 4 years experience in a Deburr/Polishing environment.
• Experience with common tools and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Proficient in working with a variety of materials, including plastics, aluminum, steel, stainless steels, and nickel alloys.

• Familiarity with AS9100 process.
• Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with ERP systems (Cetec).
• Experience with aerospace hardware.
• Experience working with machinists to improve processes.

This individual will work onsite in Hollywood, AL.
