CFD Research Corporation is looking to add an experienced aerospace engineer to the team to support research and development (R&D) at our Engineering Test Center, located a short distance from our Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. The position is a new role that will work on a growing team of engineers and technicians and will encompass conceptual design, prototyping, and testing phases in support of Army, Air Force, and Navy programs.
Programs span hypersonic ground test, propulsion, flight hardware, and more.
- US Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering (or similar STEM discipline) and at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Relevant coursework in fluid mechanics, compressible flow, propulsion, and aerodynamics
- Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar STEM discipline)
- Familiarity with AS9100 process
- Experience developing prototype hardware
- Experience with CNC machinery, instrumentation, testing, and fabrication tools/processes
This individual will work onsite in Hollywood, AL.
