Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft)

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all plant manufacturing and support equipment.
• Assist with basic electronics such as Programmable Logic Controls, photo eyes, relays proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, and basic troubleshooting of all types of industrial robots.
• Prepare sites for installation of machines, making the necessary checks on systems.
• Use preventative and predictive maintenance processes to rapidly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and quickly restore equipment to service to support the successful operation of the plant.
• Work as part of a team with the goal of increasing productivity and decreasing downtime and waste.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, etc) and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.

Skills & Abilities Required:

• High School Diploma plus equivalent experience, or 2-year associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Basic reading and/or comprehension skills; able to read and/or understand technical manuals and adhere to safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
