Job Title
Maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead technical manuals to understand equipment and controls Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components Perform tests to make sure that the machine is running smoothly Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
RequiredEducation and/or Experience
High School Diploma plus equivalent experience, or 2 year associate's degree in industrial maintenance or related field
RequiredSkills and Abilities
Manual dexterity Mechanical skills Troubleshooting skills
Decision-Making and Organization ImpactResponsible for personal and others' Health and Safety Machine downtime can cause missed shipments to customers
Reporting RelationshipsThis position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Working ConditionsPlant floor Overtime of varying levels may be required with this position Periodic travel may be required to help with issues at other locations
