As an EH&S Program Specialist, you will develop and maintain safety programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement in workplace safety. You will be responsible for risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and employee safety training to support operational excellence.

This role will also support the Fort Saskatchewan Path2

Zero (P2Z) initiative, a major project aimed at achieving net-zero emissions, reinforcing Dows commitment to sustainability.

• Leads the execution of daily EH&S programs by implementing established safety standards and protocols.
• Ensures plant operations meet EH&S performance expectations by applying best practices in safety and environmental management.
• Provides guidance and expertise on EH&S-related policies, acting as a resource for plant teams.
• Functions as the primary point of contact for environmental, industrial hygiene, and health & safety inquiries.
• Supports and coaches employees on EH&S-related procedures and responsibilities.
• Contributes to the development and achievement of EH&S goals for the plant.
• Oversees and ensures timely completion of compliance-related tasks.
• Conducts or manages environmental and industrial hygiene evaluations, reporting key findings for regulatory adherence.

• EH&S Application:
  Leverage experience in Environmental Health and Safety to implement effective work processes and drive continuous improvements by conducting root cause analyses and executing follow-up actions.

• Minimum educational qualification:
  High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S), or a related field.
• For candidates applying in Canada, legal authorization to work in the country is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• This role is situated in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada.
