The Yard Jockey Operator is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule and servicing equipment as necessary to ensure specifications are met. The operator also inspects equipment before and after to document lost or damaged items. When not running the truck, the employee is expected to work at the External Warehouse or Plant Production as an HTPG Shipping Associate.

- All warehouse employees are expected to be available to work in all areas of Warehouse/Shipping.
- Load/Unload inbound/outbound shipments.
- Accurately complete corresponding delivery paperwork and work with production, sales and customers to communicate issues with loads and delivery time.
- Report shortages and low stock items to operations and materials management.
- Ensure that products are properly stored and labeled.
- Picking, Tagging, and Staging of outbound kits/shipments.
- Ensure vehicle is properly loaded, secured, and product is delivered safely and timely.
- Ability to inspect vehicle(s) for any safety or operational defects using DOT, maintenance, and safety checklists and ensuring emergency equipment is in proper working order.
- Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
- Loading truck may require securing chains across the width of a trailer to secure the product, both on the bed of a trailer and in an overhead rack, tarping of loads on trailers, and dropping and hooking a trailer.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Must be able to operate computer and scanning equipment.
- Must be able to pass class, become certified, and maintain certification to operate CDL
A. - Ability to pass a company road test.
- Driver must be knowledgeable in D.O.T. Regulations/Requirements.
- Frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs/ladders, works with chains, drops and hooks trailers, performs inspections and reaches to work with equipment throughout the entire shift.
- Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather.
- No violation for careless, negligent, or reckless operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle in previous 3 years.
- No DUI or DWI (within the last 5 years).
