As a Staff Accountant, you will manage the monthly reconciliation and analysis of key general ledger accounts. This is a high-volume, high-impact role where you will:
- Own the Close:
Execute monthly accounting entries to accurately reflect revenue and expenses across the organization. - Perform Deep Dive Analysis:
Review, reconcile, and analyze complex balance sheet and income statement accounts. - Ensure Accuracy:
Monitor assigned transactions and analyze accruals and reserves to ensure proper GAAP recognition. - Drive Process Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks and help design sleeker processes to handle our increasing global transaction volume. - Collaborate across Finance:
Support the wider team with ad-hoc reporting, audit preparation, and special projects.
- Professional
Experience:
1 to 3 years of accounting experience. You should have a solid grasp of debits, credits, and financial statement flow. - Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. - Technical Proficiency:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential. Experience with Acumatica or One Stream will move you to the top of the list. - Strong Communication:
Excellent internal customer service skills and the ability to explain the logic behind the numbers. - Organizational
Skills:
The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently while staying aligned with the team goals.
