EssentialDuties
- Prepares, analyzes and reviews recurring monthly journal entries, supporting schedules and ad hoc requests.
- Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations and account variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial data across multiple business units.
- Prepares and submits monthly financial statements and supporting schedules that identify actual, budget, variance and over/under based on the plan.
- Implements and adheres to policies and procedures for the Accounting function, including compliance of all company accounting standards.
- Recommends to management the implementation of policies, procedures, processes and controls based on continual analysis of current accounting processes.
- Interact with internal and external customers using both verbal and written communication skills to discuss accounting processes or issues.
- Provide support to Controllership, Tax and FP&A functions related to various other domestic and international accounting projects.
- Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work of entry level staff Accountants.
- Performs other duties as required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting is required. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting is required.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- CPA preferred
- Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to successfully collaborate with other teams.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Strong organization and decision-making abilities.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required, with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job
