Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their dynamic team in Scottsdale. The successful candidate will support both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring smooth financial operations within the property management company. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong data entry skills and a solid understanding of Excel.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing accounts payable and receivable tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform data entry tasks with precision and efficiency, maintaining financial records up to date.
  • Utilize Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets for various accounting purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise in the accounting process.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during financial transactions.
  • Provide assistance during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company data.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an accounting role, preferably within property management.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for creating and managing spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and external parties professionally.
Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, during regular business hours.

Benefits

Competitive salary range of $45,000 - $50,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits package details to be discussed during the hiring process.

Additional Details

This position is 100% in-office, allowing for direct collaboration with team members in Scottsdale.
