Khan, Slayter & Kistler CPA is seeking a full-time, experienced tax professional for our office in Scottsdale. We are a growing firm and will consider various tax experience and backgrounds. Key responsibilities include:

Work on a wide scope of tax returns, including partnerships, corporations, individuals and trusts.
Review tax returns prepared by others to ensure compliance with all tax codes and to ensure optimal tax strategies.
Lead client engagements from start to finish for tax returns preparation and finalization.
Provide tax planning techniques which address client needs

Key experiences and skills include:

Enrolled Agent (EA) & 3+ years recent tax returns experience
Professional competency and proficiency in tax accounting functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
Ability to lead engagements from start to finish
Ability to be self-directed with minimal supervision
Ability to train other tax team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and team members
Ability to work well within a team
