Senior Accounting Manager

LaSalle Network is partnering with a rapidly growing public company in Scottsdale, AZ, to hire a Senior Accounting Manager. The organization is experiencing significant growth and seeks a hands‑on accounting leader to oversee revenue accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will play a highly visible role, partnering with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting while driving process improvements across the accounting function.

What

You'll Do
  • Lead the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
  • Oversee revenue accounting activities in accordance with ASC 606, including contract reviews, revenue recognition analysis, and related reconciliations.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
  • Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation.
  • Partner with Finance, FP&A, Operations, and other business leaders to support accounting initiatives and operational decision‑making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and implement automation initiatives.
  • Support ERP system enhancements and process optimization efforts, including ongoing improvements within Net Suite.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and assist with special projects as business needs evolve.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to one direct report while fostering continued professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and public company reporting requirements.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Experience leading full‑cycle month‑end close and financial reporting.
  • Prior experience reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
  • Experience working in an ERP environment;
    Net Suite experience strongly preferred.
  • Public accounting experience and/or public company experience preferred.
  • Prior experience mentoring or managing accounting staff is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with executive leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with a hands‑on approach.
