Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support key accounting operations, reporting activities, and close processes within a dynamic and collaborative environment. This individual will work closely with finance leadership to help maintain accurate records, produce reliable financial information, and identify opportunities to improve workflows and controls.

• Manage recurring close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting deliverables
  
  Analyze account activity, research variances, and communicate findings to finance leadership
• Partner with teams involved in payables, receivables, payroll, and cash activity to support accurate transactional accounting
• Assist with financial statement support, reporting packages, and audit preparation
• Help strengthen internal controls, accounting documentation, and process consistency across the department
• Contribute to workflow improvements, system optimization efforts, and reporting efficiency initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 6 + years of progressive accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and validate financial data
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• CPA or active progress toward certification
• Background in public accounting
• Experience with Net Suite or another ERP platform
• Exposure to audit support and financial statement preparation
• Industry experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or investment environments
