Tax Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced tax manager to join our growing team. As a trusted advisor, you will guide clients through complex tax matters, deliver top-tier service, and mentor future leaders within our firm. • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships rooted in exceptional service.
• Identify opportunities to expand client services and support new business growth.
• Represent clients before taxing authorities and respond to complex notices and inquiries.

• Manage multiple engagements, ensuring quality control, project management, and billing accuracy.
• Review tax returns and work papers for accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
• Research complex tax issues, analyze alternatives, and communicate findings clearly.
• Maintain a strong understanding of IRC sections, corporate, individual, and partnership taxation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
  Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• Active CPA license or progress toward CPA required (J.D., LL.M., or EA considered).

• 4–6 years of tax experience in public accounting or a related environment.
• Proven success managing client relationships and supervising staff.
• Business development experience is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tax-related software tools.

• Salary Range: $90,000+ DOE
• Time Off: 15 paid holidays, 18 PTO days, plus 16 hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO).
• Billable target: 1,550 hours annually or less, depending on specific responsibilities.
