Accounting Analyst

• Support the Pharmacy Benefit Manager’s accounting organization with core accounting and reporting functions
• Assist in achieving an accurate and timely month-end close
• Complete reports for upper management, finance liaisons, and business owners
• Interpret results of operations and forecast necessary changes
• Identify recurring issues, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities
• Communicate recommendations
• Support internal and external auditors during financial statement and internal controls audits

• 6+ months of working experience; internships count
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance; studying Accounting/Finance counts
• At least 1 year of experience in Excel and/or analytical roles
• Bachelor’s Degree required; concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work well with a team and independently
• 2 years of professional work experience preferred

Demonstrates expertise in Accounting and Finance with a strong focus on general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, and analytical reporting. Proficient in Excel and capable of identifying process improvements while effectively communicating recommendations.
