Family Office Senior Accountant​/Assistant Controller

Company Overview:

A private family office is seeking a Family Office Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role will be pivotal in transitioning the office's accounting system from Quick Books to Net Suite and managing ongoing accounting and reporting for the family's diverse investment portfolio.

• Lead and support the Quick Books-to-Net Suite conversion, including data migration, chart of accounts setup, and workflow testing
• Manage day-to-day accounting for family office entities, including funds, real estate investments, and joint ventures
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for family stakeholders
• Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities and investment structures
• Reconcile bank, brokerage, and investment accounts
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and investment managers as needed
• Support cash management and capital call/distribution tracking for fund and JV interests
• Assist with process documentation and internal controls as the office scales its systems

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a family office, private investment firm, or real estate/fund environment
• Hands-on Net Suite experience required; prior involvement in a Quick Books-to-Net Suite migration is a strong plus
• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting, real estate investment structures, and fund/JV reporting
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with complex ownership structures

Salary: $140,000 – $180,000, Plus Bonus
