Job Description

** Payroll Clerk

** Pay:**$23- $28/hour

* Hours:

** Mon-Fri 8a - 5pm (start between 7am - 9:30am)     
** Overview of Responsibilities*
* * Support daily payroll reporting and employee onboarding
* Validate new hires and ensure all payroll data is entered accurately to the designated field in UKG
* Assist with payroll support related to an upcoming company move
* Take on increased responsibilities as ramp up progresses
* Use UKG payroll system (highly preferred; strongly desired at start)
* Process multistate payroll for approximately 1,500–2,000 employees
* Handle Personnel Action Requests: new hires, salary changes, bonuses, transfers, terminations, retro pay, and benefits adjustments
* Process garnishments (child support, tax levies, etc.)
* Generate and distribute manual payroll checks accurately and timely
* Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees and management  
** Qualifications*
* * 2+ years of high volume payroll experience
* Strong payroll systems knowledge (UKG experience preferred / required)
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Efficient written and verbal communication skills
