Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team in Scottsdale, Arizona on a Contract basis. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing a busy invoice and payment workflow while maintaining accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced office environment. The role will support day-to-day accounts payable activities and work closely with leadership to help clear outstanding payment items and prepare financial disbursement documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions with close attention to accuracy and timing.
• Review, code, and enter invoices into Quick Books while ensuring information is recorded correctly.
• Prepare disbursements and assemble settlement-related documentation, including statements and supporting payment materials.
• Generate checks, draft payment cover letters, and coordinate submissions for bank processing.
• Help reduce outstanding workload by organizing and completing backlogged payment items efficiently.
• Partner directly with the supervisor to ensure trust-based check activity is handled according to established procedures.
• Maintain clear and detail-oriented records for completed payments and related account documentation.
