Hybrid - Senior Property Accountant

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property accounting, including but not limited to CAM reconciliations, commercial real estate accounting, and project accounting. • Oversee all aspects of property accounting, including CAM reconciliations, commercial real estate accounting, and project accounting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Utilize Yardi software for property management and accounting tasks.
• Review and approve all property‑related invoices and ensure they are coded and posted correctly.
• Monitor and manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts for properties.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure all financial information is accurate and compliant with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, CAM reconciliations, commercial real estate accounting, and project accounting.
• Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including income statements.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
