Shipping Assistant

Description

Acara Solutions is looking for a shipping assistant to assist our client out in Scottsdale, AZ who specializes in semiconductor manufacturing.

Here is what you will get:

• Pay Rate: $19/hr
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm

Here is what you will do:

• Receiving inbound mail and packages
• Time/date stamp all incoming/outgoing mail
• Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution
• Sorts and delivers interdepartmental mail including notices and memoranda
• Operates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine
• Pick, pack, and process customer and internal orders using warehouse management software
• Create shipping labels using DHL, Fed Ex, UPS, USPS
• Coordinate collection of freight shipments
• Maintains a clean work environment
• Stock supplies needed for the mailroom
• Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of related shipping or admin support experience
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, Excel, and Power Point
• Works independently on moderately complex and semi-routine tasks
• Communicates effectively and professionally
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines
• Must be able to pass required Pre-Employment Screenings
• Must be willing and able to Travel between both locations
