Summary

This person is an ambitious and enthusiastic multi‑tasker who shows great attention to detail and is comfortable in a fast‑paced environment. Having direct contact with our guests and vendors, it is important to be pleasant and professional in personality, appearance, and attire. The position provides prompt assistance on the phone and in person, dealing with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

This requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role supplies administrative assistance and customer service support at the corporate office for our V.I.P. family of companies.

Essential Job Functions
  • Receptionist Assistant, covering the front desk/reception area, greeting guests and vendors, and receiving and logging very important loan packages and deliveries.
  • Speaks in a clear and friendly manner while answering the phone. Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non‑routine questions.
  • Sorts and distributes mail.
  • Monitors the company's Live Chat forum.
  • Provides support for setup and cleanup of events, including light technical support in meeting rooms.
  • Assists the IT department with service tickets and follow‑up calls (no previous IT experience needed).
  • Assists with monthly invoicing.
  • Escorts vendors.
  • Delivers packages (up to 20 lbs.).
  • Works independently and as part of a team on special non‑recurring and ongoing projects.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have and display good ethics and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Demands

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending at the waist and knees, lifting (up to 20 lbs.), and hearing and speaking to communicate and provide information to others.

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
