About the RoleA growing organization is seeking an Operations & Compliance Coordinator to support agent services, licensing, compliance, and day-to-day operational processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and naturally curious — someone who doesn't simply process a task because "that's the way it's done," but pauses when something doesn't look right, asks the right questions, and knows when an issue should be escalated.
You'll work across multiple recurring processes, deadlines, systems, and internal and external partners. While many responsibilities are administrative in nature, success in this position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to identify gaps before they become problems
.
This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop hands‑on experience in operations, compliance, licensing, and analytical support
.
The Operations & Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day flow of agent services and compliance operations. This includes tracking onboarding activity, monitoring agent status changes, and ensuring required updates are completed accurately and on time. You will review applications and policy documentation for completeness, maintain and update operational spreadsheets and records, and help ensure internal and external processes stay aligned.
In this role, you will also communicate updates to partners and vendors, support document control and form updates, and assist with compliance training coordination. A key part of your day-to-day work will involve identifying inconsistencies, following up on missing information, and escalating issues when something does not align with expected standards.
Qualifications- Strong ability to think critically and solve problems, including recognizing inconsistencies, asking clarifying questions, and knowing when escalation is appropriate
- Solid judgment with strong attention to detail, including the ability to question information when something does not seem correct
- Foundational analytical ability and comfort using spreadsheets and tracking tools to identify trends, missing data, or errors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) is required
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and PDF editing tools is required
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recurring, deadline-driven tasks across different work streams
- Strong reliability in following through on tasks, managing deadlines, and keeping track of multiple follow-ups independently
- Clear and professional written communication skills for interacting with agents, partners, and internal teams
- Able to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience keeping deadlines and follow-ups straight at once, whether that comes from a classroom, a front office, licensing work, or a similar setting
- 60+ years of experience with a startup mindset — Join an established organization that combines the stability and expertise of a long-standing company with the energy, flexibility, and entrepreneurial spirit of a startup environment.
- Collaborative culture with room to grow — Work alongside a supportive team where ideas are welcomed, collaboration is valued, and there are opportunities to expand your skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Technology-forward approach — Be part of an organization using cutting-edge technology to help move the insurance industry into its next generation.
- Leadership that puts people first — Work with leaders who value humility, open-mindedness, collaboration, and empowering employees to contribute to the organization's success.
- New position due to GROWTH
The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, observant, organized, and willing to think critically about routine work
. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you should be comfortable learning processes, asking thoughtful questions, taking ownership of follow-ups, and recognizing when something needs a closer look.
If you enjoy bringing structure to complex administrative work and want to build experience in operations and compliance this opportunity could be a game changer!
