The DMV Operations Specialist is part of the Delivery Operations team and will work with Tesla departments and external parties to help complete vehicle registration transactions and purchase paperwork, including customer purchases. This role’s schedule is Monday through Friday.

• Coordinate with Sales and Delivery Specialists to ensure all required transaction documents are complete and accurate.
• Process DMV registrations related to sales and Tesla‑owned vehicles.
• Record information and maintain data quality in multiple record‑keeping systems, including WDO and online registration systems.
• Serve as an authority on vehicle tax and registration rules by geography, keep abreast of changes, and communicate them to the team in a timely manner.
• Participate in testing new and updated forms and processes.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required.
• DMV experience preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively with a proven track record of execution.
• Ability to adapt to frequent change and have attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends, according to activity volume.
• Experience with Dealer track or DLRDMV, a plus.
