Sales Trainer – Call Center

The Contact Center Sales Trainer is responsible for facilitating training classes for newly hired employees as well as refresher training for current employees. They will conduct effective learning sessions through classroom style training using a computer-based setting as well as individual coaching sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Training and coordinating classes for new hire and continuing education training programs.
• Maintain adequate inventory of classroom materials and equipment, as necessary create and maintain training registration, attendance, and completion records.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to new hires while on the phones in the training classroom.
• Evaluate measure and track the progress of training participants, providing feedback, and hiring recommendations to managers.
• Organize and write basic communication materials for weekly training briefings.
• Maintain new hire employee records, including coaching information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BA or equivalent work experience is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of delivering sales, product and customer service training programs for new hires in inbound/outbound call center, ideally in the travel industry.
• Previous experience facilitating or creating sales curriculum.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of the travel industry preferred.

• This position involves prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer within a typical office or cubicle setting, which may include constant background noise and fluorescent overhead lighting.
