About the Role
Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a contribution-minded Accounting Analyst to support the Accounts Payable (AP) function. This role blends hands‑on AP transaction processing with process improvement and system enhancement work, particularly as the team implements new automation tools.

Key Responsibilities- Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Payable processes, including:
- Invoice entry and processing
- Aging analysis
- Payment processing
- Lien waiver collection (training provided)
- Develop and apply advanced ERP knowledge (current system:
Vista Viewpoint
) - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and leadership to optimize AP workflows
- Support the implementation and ongoing use of automation tools, including:
- Procore (lien waiver automation)
- AP Wizard (OCR‑driven invoice automation)
- Assist with documenting, refining, and standardizing AP processes
- Identify inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Own and manage standard AP operations with accuracy and timeliness
- Test, validate, and support ERP system enhancements
- Lead or support process improvement projects to close workflow gaps and improve accountability
- Analyze trends and generate meaningful reports that drive business decisions
- Act as a knowledgeable resource and trainer, sharing best practices with team members
- Communicate insights effectively using data, storytelling, and visualization
- Proactively recommend and implement efficiency improvements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transaction workflows
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable operations
- Experience with lien waivers preferred, but not required
- Comfortable adapting quickly during system upgrades and organizational change
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Reliable, collaborative, and aligned with onsite work expectations
$25.00 to $27.00 per hour
