In this role, you will serve as a leader in the workplace and manage all activity related to the Outside Service activity within Desert Mountain’s flagship operation. This is a proactive role that requires exceptional adaptability within a dynamic work environment while overseeing a team of personnel who represent the first and last point of contact for our members and guests.

The Supervisor maintains a clean and organized work environment while fostering a culture of positivity and professionalism in the following areas of focus:
Bag Drop, Cart Barn and Practice Facilities. You will be responsible for providing world‑class service while ensuring that all personnel and golf amenities meet the standard of excellence set forth by the Club.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills while maintaining a professional and positive attitude. A proactive and highly adaptable mindset are essential to success in this team focused role along with a genuine passion for golf and commitment to creating exceptional service experiences. Prior experience in golf operations is preferred. Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record within the last 3 years.

• Supervise and delegate duties to Outside Services personnel and the Range Attendant.
• Lead in the training and development of all Outside Service personnel in a manner that instills best practices consistent with operational standards.
• Communicate with department managers regarding team / individual performance and note any staff‑related concerns.
• Engage with members / guests in a professional and enthusiastic manner that enhances the service touch point.
• Practice and promote name recognition.
• Assist members / guests with all pre and post round needs including: bag receiving / loading, cleaning golf clubs, and bag return.
• Coordinate weekly staff schedules with department managers.
• Conduct weekly inventory of radios and rental club sets.
• Perform regular quality checks of all push / walk carts, power push carts, Tempo Walks, and related accessories. Advise management of any repairs / replacement parts needed.
• Prepare, operate, and maintain the course cart fleet. This includes club utility vehicles.
• Conduct routine inventory of the golf cart maintenance log and communicate with management regarding any cart repairs needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area that is stocked with an adequate inventory of essential operational supplies at all times.
• Assist in the set‑up and execution of all golf tournaments and events.
• Maintain familiarity with the Club Calendar and all current / upcoming event happenings.
• Set‑up, monitor, and take down the practice facility areas.
• Manage the daytime valet program and all associated member vehicle logistics
• Attend mandatory golf meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
