AboutThe Role
The Director, Corporate Development & Strategic Growth is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic growth opportunities that support Pinnacle Fertility's long-term vision and expansion objectives. This role will lead acquisition sourcing efforts, strategic partnership development, market expansion initiatives, and corporate development activities across the organization. Working closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, and key functional leaders, the Director will play a critical role in shaping Pinnacle's growth strategy, building relationships with prospective physician partners and acquisition targets, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting transaction execution.
This individual will serve as a key contributor in helping Pinnacle strengthen its position as a leading fertility care platform.
We are seeking a dynamic Director, Corporate Development & Strategic Growth to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility in Scottsdale, Arizona
. This is a full-time, on-site salaried position
.
- Develop and execute corporate development and strategic growth initiatives aligned with Pinnacle's organizational objectives.
- Identify, source, and evaluate acquisition, affiliation, joint venture, and strategic partnership opportunities across target markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with fertility physicians, practice owners, healthcare leaders, industry advisors, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective acquisition and partnership opportunities.
- Lead outreach efforts with prospective acquisition targets and strategic partners, effectively communicating Pinnacle's value proposition and partnership opportunities.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and expansion strategies.
- Coordinate and manage transaction processes, including target evaluation, preliminary diligence, valuation analysis, deal structuring support, negotiations, and transaction execution.
- Support the development and negotiation of Letters of Intent (LOIs), partnership agreements, and other transaction-related documents in collaboration with legal and executive leadership.
- Partner closely with Finance to evaluate acquisition opportunities through financial modeling, valuation analyses, business case development, and investment return assessments.
- Prepare investment memoranda, strategic recommendations, and executive-level presentations for senior leadership, Board members, and other stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional diligence efforts in partnership with legal, finance, operations, clinical, compliance, and human resources teams.
- Assess transaction risks, identify key diligence findings, and support development of mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Market CEOs and operational leaders to identify expansion opportunities within existing markets and evaluate entry into new regions.
- Evaluate new service lines, strategic partnerships, and adjacent business opportunities to assess market potential and organizational fit.
- Support integration planning efforts in partnership with operational leaders to promote successful onboarding and long-term partnership success.
- Represent Pinnacle Fertility at industry conferences, networking events, and business development meetings.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, competitive activity, and physician practice market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, healthcare strategy, consulting, business development, or a related field.
- Experience sourcing, evaluating, and supporting execution of acquisition or strategic partnership opportunities preferred.
- Healthcare services experience strongly preferred; experience with physician practice management, healthcare services platforms, or provider partnerships is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting due diligence, transaction execution, strategic planning, or growth initiatives preferred.
