Associate Strategy Director – Enterprise Planning

• Lead development of international and regional strategies aligned with SBUs, functions, and enterprise priorities
• Integrate geopolitical, financial, and competitive insights into global portfolio recommendations
• Centralize and mature the strategic planning framework for international entities
• Lead end-to-end strategy engagements from problem framing through executive recommendations
• Deliver market entry strategies, growth roadmaps, portfolio assessments, and competitive response plans
• Advise international businesses and translate global dynamics into enterprise direction
• Lead strategy and analysis for enterprise-wide planning cycles
• Shape strategic narratives and translate enterprise priorities into actionable plans
• Develop portfolio-level insights and recommendations
• Partner with SBUs to understand markets, customers, and competitive environments
• Translate enterprise strategy into unit-specific guidance
• Facilitate workshops and structured discussions
• Build business cases, scenario models, and sensitivity analyses
• Assess mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances
• Develop presentations, decision memos, and visual storytelling assets for senior leadership
• Create analytical tools, dashboards, and strategy frameworks
• Streamline and automate strategy and analytics workflows
• Apply consulting-style best practices to improve rigor, speed, and consistency
• Collaborate with senior leadership across business units, finance, engineering, and operations
• Some travel may be required

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10+ years of experience
• Significant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or comparable strategic leadership
• Background in a top-tier consulting firm and/or internal corporate strategy team
• Recent hands-on aerospace and defense sector experience
• Strong understanding of market structure, customers, and competitive dynamics
• Experience leading complex, multi-workstream initiatives under tight timelines
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior executives
• Advanced analytical capability in data analysis, business case development, market assessments, sensitivity modeling, and strategic visualization
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Active and existing Top Secret DoD security clearance required after day 1

Demonstrates expertise in corporate strategy development, market analysis, and strategic planning within the aerospace and defense sector. Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, deliver actionable insights, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
