Location: Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $145,000 – $165,000 (DOE) + Benefits
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee large‑scale multi‑family construction projects in the Phoenix metro area. This role requires a highly organized, hands‑on leader with a strong commercial construction background and a minimum of 10 years of experience managing multi‑family builds. The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for overall field operations, schedule adherence, safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all on‑site construction activities from ground‑up through project completion
- Manage and coordinate superintendents, field staff, subcontractors, and vendors
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
- Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Maintain quality control and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and local codes
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, architects, and ownership
- Conduct subcontractor meetings and maintain clear communication across teams
- Identify and proactively resolve field issues to avoid delays
- Monitor productivity and implement cost‑control measures
- Maintain accurate daily reports and site documentation
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience with significant focus on multi‑family ground‑up projects
- Strong commercial construction background required
- Proven experience managing large‑scale projects ($20M+ preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software preferred
