Job Title: Experienced Asphalt Rakers
Rummel Construction is seeking experienced Asphalt Rakers. You should have experience working on paving projects and a strong commitment to safety. This safety‑sensitive position involves working around heavy construction equipment with knowledge of hazards, safety precautions, and awareness of paving requirements for a variety of projects. You will work with a team of experienced employees who prioritize safety and collaboration. Our typical schedule is Monday through Friday, although some projects may require weekend work.
Responsibilities- Identify and correct areas of asphalt surface that are uneven or defective.
- Rake asphalt to create the desired surface texture.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, such as shoveling, cleanup, and general labor.
- Work safely in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet, etc.).
- Approximately 1+ year of experience in construction.
- Experience in paving and heavy construction with knowledge of paving a variety of projects.
