The Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to support field operations, project controls, cost tracking, scheduling, documentation, and contract administration on major mining and Heavy Civil infrastructure projects. This position offers significant career growth, hands‑on project exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers and field leadership teams.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 1–5 years of Heavy Civil construction experience
  • Experience with earthwork, concrete, underground utilities, mining infrastructure, water infrastructure, or industrial construction preferred
  • Strong understanding of project controls, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and cost tracking
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel and work on project assignments throughout the Southwest
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents on mining and Heavy Civil infrastructure projects
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, quantity tracking, and project documentation
  • Assist with cost reporting, forecasting, budget tracking, and schedule updates
  • Coordinate with field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
  • Support project controls and contract administration activities

    Monitor project progress and help identify potential issues before they impact schedule or budget
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and closeout activities
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
