**** About the Role
** As a Construction Project Manager at Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in overseeing all phases of multi-family modular construction projects, from fabrication through erection and final turnover. This position requires strong project management skills, budget and schedule oversight, and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will contribute directly to ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects while aligning project goals with the needs of construction, logistics, manufacturing, and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with internal teams including construction, logistics, design/engineering, manufacturing, subcontractors, vendors, and external partners, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality expectations. This is a full-time, onsite role at our Laveen, AZ jobsite.
** This position may eventually require approximately 70-80% travel to project sites and customer locations throughout the United States.

What You'll DoProject Oversight & Planning
* Manage large-scale modular construction projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery within approved budgets and project scope.
* Develop, optimize, and maintain detailed project schedules to achieve key milestones and deliverables.
* Lead strategic project planning efforts by identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
* Oversee project change management processes to align scope, schedule, and budget adjustments with business objectives.

Collaboration & Leadership
* Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across construction, logistics, design/engineering, and manufacturing functions.
* Drive collaboration among internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
* Resolve complex project challenges and conflicts while promoting accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
* Provide guidance and support to assistant project managers and project managers to strengthen team performance and project outcomes.
* Partner with the General Manager, Projects to align project priorities with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
** Budgeting & Financial Management
*** Develop and manage project budgets while monitoring financial performance against established targets.
* Lead cost control initiatives by tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities to improve project profitability.
* Negotiate and manage change orders to support project requirements while maintaining budget expectations.
* Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and project updates to senior leadership.
** Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
*** Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support project objectives.
* Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and project schedules.
