About the RoleWe’re looking for a motivated Construction Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems in the field, and wants to grow into a leadership role within construction project management
What You’ll Do- Project Coordination & Execution
- Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Support construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Track project progress and help identify potential risks or delays
- Prepare, review, and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Maintain accurate project records, logs, and reports
- Assist with cost tracking, quantity takeoffs, and budget updates
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth field operations
- Participate in site walks, inspections, and progress meetings
- Help resolve field issues and support quality control efforts
- Serve as a point of contact between the project team, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings and manage agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-ups
- Foster strong working relationships across teams to keep projects moving forward
- Four-year degree in Construction Management or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience
- Intermediate knowledge of software applications (MS Office/Procore/Bluebeam/Vista), and others
- Basic understanding of construction industry terminology and documents with the ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to develop, maintain, and enhance all project stakeholder relationships with the Company
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, efficient, and reliable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to recognize how individual actions affect the team as a whole
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changes to planned tasks or schedule
- Hands-on experience, working directly on meaningful, high-impact construction projects
- Clear pathways for advancement into project management and leadership roles
- Collaboration with experienced professionals who value mentorship and teamwork
