Gannón Operator
Rummel Construction, Inc. is a heavy civil general contractor specializing in mass excavation and grading.
This safety-sensitive position is responsible for operating a Gannón, with knowledge of hazards and safety precautions, and awareness of cut/fill operations for a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Reporting defects or needed repairs to supervisors daily.
Minimum qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the construction industry operating heavy equipment.
- Experience in earthmoving and heavy construction with knowledge of cut/fill operations across various projects.
- Experience in finish ABC, drainage, landscape grading, or reestablishment with a grade tractor in residential, commercial, and paving environments.
- Ability to understand grading stakes, guidelines on ground, and position equipment accordingly.
