Field Engineer

William Charles Electric, a Mas Tec Company is hiring Field Engineers to support our assigned renewables and power delivery projects. The Field Engineer will provide support to the Project Manager and Construction Manager on various projects. General responsibilities include implementation of the project specific Quality Plan, site specific plans, material inventory and receiving.

Travel & Project Assignment:
You can live in any city or state in the continental United States. This is an on-site position which may encompass a work site primarily in the Midwest, but may include Eastern and Western states. Must be capable of working on-site for 3 weeks with a four-day rotation. We offer designated per diem of $1,020 per week in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses during the travel rotation.

You must have the ability to drive and have proper licensing. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided for the assigned work location.

• Performs field survey work in regards to layout and tracking of work activities, utilizing PC based software and GPS station/field equipment.
• Manages project specific quality control records and ensuring that required reporting is accomplished.
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating to ensure that all required audits/inspections are performed and documented.
• Assist with material inventory and receiving paperwork.
• Assist with final job closeout, as-builts, job binder creation.
